‘The tennis tournament of this size would not be possible without the help of numerous volunteers. These helpers in the background are priceless.’ This is how Alain Stirnimann, Head of Zug Open Volunteers, summarised it last year in the Zuger Zeitung.

This year, too, there will be plenty of action on the tennis courts, at the entrance and access controls, at the shuttle service for the players, in the public Tennis Village, in the VIP area and in the other areas of the extensive tournament site.

Interested tennis fans of all ages can now register to volunteer in the various departments at this year's Zug Open (21-28 July 2024). In addition to a staff outfit, free day tickets for the tournament and a staff party at the start of the tournament, you can look forward to lasting experiences and personal friendships in the Zug Open volunteer community.

What does Alain Stirnimann want for ‘his’ volunteers at the Zug Open 2024?
‘I hope that all the volunteers have great fun during the tournament week, looking behind the scenes of an ATP tournament and being very close to the players and fans - even if the work can be a bit tough at times. A special Staff Night is planned for them on the Saturday evening before the tournament starts on 20 July 2024. We want to strengthen the familial character of the volunteer community so that everyone can look back after match point in the final and say: ‘That was a great summer tennis highlight and I was part of it!’ says Stirnimann.
