Seyboth Wild once again showed his class in the final. After Hüsler immediately responded to an early break in the opening set, the Brazilian broke serve again straight away. In the second set, a break for 3–2 proved decisive. After 80 minutes, Seyboth Wild converted match point to claim the title.

For Hüsler, the final also marked the end of a successful professional career. The 30-year-old from Zurich had announced ahead of the tournament that Zug would be his final appearance on tour – and signed off from professional tennis with an impressive run to the final. Career highlights include his ATP 250 title in Sofia in 2022 and a career-high ATP ranking of world No. 47.
